Nigel Batten - Business and Product Developement Manager
Nigel's role will be to assist customers to develop their bird control work. This will enable them to gain additional and profitable income streams during the present economic conditions. Nigel will train and mentor pest controllers who want to learn how to carry out profitable bird work. In doing this, he will work alongside Paul Hoyes who has been with Killgerm since 2001.

Between them they will be setting up new training courses based in Ossett and elsewhere. These two-day courses will cover both technical and practical aspects of bird control.

Nigel will also be the main speaker at this year's Killgerm breakfasts when he will explain the benefits of including bird work in their product range and how he can help PCOs to develop or increase their income from it.

Ben Dean - Outbound Customer Service Advisor
Ben has over 2 years experience as a pest controller. As part of his Outbound Customer Service role he will be working with Peter Fielding, Carl Wetherill and Isabel Jowett. He will also assist customers with some of their technical questions.

Rachel Morris - Marketing Assistant
Rachel previously worked as an Outbound Customer Service Advisor. She has now moved to Marketing as Marketing Assistant.

Kayleigh Wilmott - Outbound Customer Service Advisor
Kayleigh works with Graham Bingham and Tony O'dowd as part of her Customer Service role.

Jayne Mackie - Inbound Customer Service Advisor
As part of the Inbound team, Jayne processes orders and also helps customers with any queries they may have.

Joanne Fozzard - Research Assistant
Joanne has joined Killgerm as a Research Assistant, as part of Knowledge Transfer Partnership in conjunction with the University of Salford. Her role will be to conduct research and analyse results regarding pest management. Joanne will also become involved in the CIEH National Pest Advisory Panel (NPAP), who will use her research and findings to promote the importance of pest management in public health.

Joanne has recently completed a degree in Environmental Health at the University of Salford. One of the highlights of her time there involved sampling for mosquitoes in urban areas of the North West, during a 2010 summer placement. This resulted in a paper being written for the ICUP that was presented in 2011.
