  • have a basic understanding of pest biology - insects, rodents and birds
  • have knowledge of using a dichotomous key for insect identification
  • have developed your identification skills of pests and pest damage
  • be aware of simple control, strategies
  • be able to give estimation of pest density
  • be able to monitor pest control contract efficacy
