In her talk, she will describe how scientists from Arctech Innovation have used the incredible sensing abilities of insects to develop odour-based tools to revolutionise insect and disease detection. By understanding how insects navigate through a world full of odour cues, Arctech Innovation have developed and patented a novel bed bug lure, called BugScents. Sophie will describe the design and testing process that took place in the development of the product.
